The Gorge View Society proudly offers singles and couples rental accommodation on five acres of grass, trees and gardens at Chown Place (neatly tucked off Harriet Road, between Gorge Road and West Burnside).
For over 50 years, The Gorge View Society has been meeting the need for basic, affordable housing for Seniors—aged 55 years or older—living on fixed incomes.
Our rents are kept well below the average rate in Victoria, in a location that is central to shopping, bus routes, scenic walks, doctors and hospitals, Silver Threads, restaurants… all the amenities that make life both manageable and enjoyable as we get older.
The Gorge View Society offers freedom from most of the cares and woes of home maintenance while fostering independent lifestyles and fellowship within a caring community.
